As of today, the Reputation System Formula in Rainbow Six Siege goes under a significant overhaul. After this update, players may see changes in their Reputation Standings which can only be raised and maintained by fair play and respect for others. Otherwise, consistently disrupting other players' experience with the game could lead to a penalty.
The heart of the update lies in a comprehensive rebalancing of how actions are accounted for within the system. These changes will directly impact the ease of attaining prestigious standings like Esteemed and Exemplary. Penalty-triggering measures have also been fine-tuned to ensure consistency, making it clear when penalties will be activated and ensure that they stay active.
The reputation system remains in its Beta phase, with continuous evolution planned. Future updates will introduce greater visibility and control for players to interact in prosocial ways. The ultimate goal is to create a safe and enjoyable gaming environment for everyone, achieved through collaboration with the passionate gaming community. Making the game as approachable as possible so that more players will feel safer in their online gameplay is only in everyone's best interest.
