The Rainbow Six Siege Twitter announced the next season: Operaton Dread Factor. The reveal of Operation Dread Factor was teased in a recent blog post on Apr. 20, where Ubisoft also provided updates on the Year 8 Roadmap. According to the blog post, the new season is expected to be based on Sweden, but other details have been kept under wraps.
However, all that is about to change soon as Ubisoft has scheduled a season presentation on Monday, May. 14, where they will unveil more information about Operation Dread Factor. Fans are eagerly anticipating the announcement and are expecting the new season to be released anytime during the final week of May.
Apart from a new Battle Pass and event, players can also look forward to new target modes in the Shooting Range, a permanent Arcade Playlist, and a map rework on Consulate. In addition, Ubisoft has promised player protection updates, console improvements, and player comfort and onboarding updates.
Furthermore, Ubisoft has teased a potential buff for Grim, which is expected to come with the release of Operation Dread Factor. However, the previously announced nerf for Frost has been pushed back to Year 8 Season 3.
The Rainbow Six Siege community is already buzzing with excitement for the new season, and with Operation Dread Factor promising a host of exciting new updates, it looks like the hype will only continue to grow.
